Followed the recipe exactly for the cream. I mixed the fruit about an hour before hand so that the sugar would have time to make juice. I took note of previous comments and omitted the preserves from the fruit part of the recipe and added a Tablespoon of limoncello to it. It was a big hit, we will definitely make this again! Light, refreshing, and absolutely delicious! We had to tweek the recipe a little and we substituted frozen lemonade concentrate for the limonchello. I'm making it again tonight, it's just so perfect with fresh berries. It was perfect! I didn't use the jam which I'm so glad people had suggested. I made this to put on top of a lemon blueberry butter cake. I substituted lemon spread for limoncello, and added a splash of lime juice. Very delicious recipe! I did modify and follow the recommendations to halve the sugar and leave out the raspberry preserves, which left it with the perfect amount of sweetness while not overpowering the fresh flavor of the fruit. The lemon oils fall into the bowl and enrich the lemon flavor throughout. My only added suggestion is to zest or grate the lemon peel over the bowl of berries. My alterations depend on the sweetness of the berries I am using, and it always works. I've altered it in a few of the different ways listed below and it has been a hit every single time. I have served this dessert numerous times to very happy guests. I have whipped it until it’s the consistency of a solid thick mousse, scooped it into small glasses and topped it with a tart lemon curd. So here’s the thing about the cream!
